Pullman, WA

This is a city that takes you by surprise. Driving in through Colfax, WA scared me quite a bit, as the town is filled with local hardware stores and everything one would expect from the American West. But when I got to Pullman, I was....just as confused.

The town doesn't have much appeal until you walk to campus. THEN everything comes together. The buildings are beautiful, the view of the Palouse is breathtaking. In the summer it looks like a yellow desert, and I can only imagine in the winter it would look like mounds of rolling snow.

I feel at home rather quickly, it's a shame I have to even leave.
